Winter sun

I feel rather sad that our Turkey trip with Indah Tour has ended but at the same time, I feel happy that we brought back many good memories with us, just like these pictures we took on our first day in Cappadocia. It’s been somewhat 8 years since I last visited the city but I couldn’t recall that much since we didn’t take as many pictures back then.

It was around 2 degrees in the afternoon and thank God I had enough clothes on since the wind wasn’t that strong. Survived the entire day with a pair of long john, thick knitted sweater and the semi winter coat. I matched my outfit with a pop of red Fendi boots and yellow lensed Gucci eyewear from Optik Seis.

Wide leg jeans

You know, despite being just 156 cm tall, I actually never have a problem when shopping for long pants (esp oversized ones) or wearing them; I don't even need to alter them though I have short legs. Why? Obvioulsy because I wear high heels all the time.

But then, how to make your petite self look taller, even when you are sitting?
My trick is to style a pair of oversized wide leg pants (or jeans in this case) with a pair of really high heels. I normally use 14cm heels, but here I use the 16cm ones because these pants are a little bit longer than my usuals. Good thing is, oversized and longer pants tend to hide your shoes well, so people won't really notice how high your heels are. No matter when you are sitting or standing, you'll definitely look tall.

Summer days

Bali days. And Imma share on how I normally dress up and plan my outfits for summer days, esp in (island) places like Bali.

One, I always invest in swimwear that I can mix and match with my daily wear because I believe nothing is too sexy to wear in Bali.
Two, I tend to keep my look rather simple, like when I'm wearing a hat, I try not to wear sunglasses too, or the other way around. Also, I try to avoid wearing too much accessories.
Three, choose neutral palette because Bali is already vibrant ;)
Last, I need to be comfortable with what I'm wearing, meaning: I won't force myself to wear something that makes me less confident; in my case, flats.

Never not holding a cup

I kinda feel that Japan is just another Australia; in this case, it's about their coffee. It's really a piece of cake to find good coffee in Tokyo just like in Sydney, right? Even the famous, not to mention my favorite Arabica Coffee in Kyoto is a par with Campos. Disclaimer: it's only my opinion.

Anyway, it was just last week I came back from Tokyo and now I need to pack my stuff again for #travelwithindahtour to South Korea and we'll be flying tomorrow night! I am not complaining, just excited for another working holiday trip, to be reunited with the full team once again and it's gonna be another crazy yet memorable trip for sure! Don't forget to catch us on our Instagram accounts for the craziness ;)

Meanwhile, here goes another outfit pictures, still from our latest trip to Tokyo. Went all neutral, like usual for a coffee break while waiting for the rest shopping around the area.

Late Autumn

You know I always love Autumn season, and well it was my first time visiting Tokyo's very own Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and it’s really beautiful, I couldn’t stop taking pictures. Went align with the Autumn vibe in my floral ERDEM X HM skirt and Marina Hoermanseder kasper flowers just because they match each other.

It was quite cold that day but I was too lazy to wear my non matching jacket because I didn’t pack my black coat to for this trip, so I wore my heattech long john and this turtle neck instead. The trick worked and it was magically warm enough, I promise ;)

ERDEMxHM

Who's excited for the launch of ERDEMxHM this Thursday? Because I surely am!

Got the chance to try on them pieces during the exclusive preview with the usuals last week and feeling so privileged to bag home one look prior to the launch date. Believe me, it's so hard to pick just one favorite look because everything is just too beautiful, many even said this is H&M best collaboration so far and I couldn't agree more. At last, I went home with this uber nice jacquard coat as it really caught my attention the first time I saw the lookbook (and the pajama set of course!). Paired it up with them socks from the same collection, found the right place to shoot and voila.

How about you, which one is your favorite from the collection? ;)

Autumn not Autumn

Packed this outfit because initially I thought it was already Autumn in Taipei, but little did I know that their Autumn starts late this year. Well, I checked the weather forecast but you know I was in denial hoping it wouldn't be that hot in Taipei. Lucky enough, I always bring my basic t-shirt everywhere I go and then I'll buy a few more when I pass by H&M because it's one of my staple piece.

I wore the jacket for the sake of OOTD pictures of course because just look at this cutest set by Kittie Yiyi! How can I not pair them up? So extra I know ;)
As for the heels, oh come on guys you know I can wear them heels for hours, it really is not a problem for me, I promise.

Stay comfortable

You know, I often (most of the times) opt for comfortable outfits before anything else. However, comfortable doesn't always mean fashionable or stylish; one wrong move, you can look lazy and sloppy. In case you're facing the same problem, here are few tricks that maybe can help you :)

1. Accessorize
Simple accessories will do, thin bangle or just a few simple rings always help. If you're not fond of jewelries, go for a hat; may it be fedora or boater hat, just make sure that the color matches your outfit.

2. Good pair of shoes will always do the trick
I believe everybody has their own good shoes in their own opinion right? It may be flats, medium heels or even sneakers; as long as you're comfortable in it, go for it. In my case, high heels are the most comfortable ones so yeah ;)

3. Don't be lazy to do your make up
If you're not a fan of heavy make up, just do a simple one; bb cream, blush and lip gloss? Why not.

Voila, I hope the tricks help :)

Aaaand here I am feeling comfortable being myself, wearing a dress shirt with cute ice cream details and simple white pants from This is April for a coffee break ;)
