Under construction

Gotta admit, am forever a sucker for good co-ord sets esp those from fall/winter RTW collection. And so I brought this Balenciaga’s jacket and trousers set to keep me warm during the winter in Paris last December. Was there for only one night so I took the chance to stroll back the memory lane, throwing back to the good old school days, visiting my favorite places, eating my favorite foods and snacks; and of course taking lots of pictures.
Well, how do you like this simple winter look?

February 14

First of all, let me wish you guys a Happy Valentine’s Day and I hope you’re feeling really loved today :) And as for me, here I am currently halfway packing for tonight’s trip to Turkey and am still stuck between all the stuff that I should bring and whatnot.

Well, since I still got some time to kill before finishing the mess up and get ready for our Valentine’s Day lunch, here goes a little souvenir from my latest trip to Bangkok, another instagramable cafe/space that we discovered during the trip.

Thanks to my cousin, Citra for recommending us this beautiful wall in front of Kay’s Boutique Breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try their brunch menu because the queue was unbelievably long on the weekend, instead we managed to take away their famous drink, The Hulk. It’s a mix of matcha and chocolate, and it’s surprisingly good. Will def come back for the drink!

Panthère de Cartier

When it comes to sunglasses, I believe one should have at least a pair of classic black sunglasses, a timeless and good quality one of course. You know, the weather will change and trends will definitely come and go, but the right pair of sunglasses will never go out of style. And let me tell you why is it important to invest in classic sunglasses.
One, it will go well with most of your outfits. Two, it will save you money, because classic everything will last for years. Three, as I mention before, it will never go out style.
My personal pick of the mentioned above is the iconic Panthère de Cartier, complete with its emblematic panther. It's elegant, it's easy to style and it complements most of my looks. Definitely a catch.

Panthère de Cartier sunglasses collection is available at Optik Seis.

Addiction

Spell Dior, read: classic. When talking about classic brands, I believe there are many that you can think of and I’m sure one of them has got to be Dior. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Well, it hasn’t been long since Maria Grazia Chiuri took over the Artistic Director possition at Dior and she already won lots of women’s hearts by celebrating feminism in the right way. Not only that, this new addiction of Dioraddict line is trully an addiction. It’s well-edited with a modern twist yet still as iconic, it’s everything Dior.

My pick is the new Fall 2018’s Dioraddict flap bag in black gold color studded cannage metallized fine grain calfskin. It is very easy to style because of its neutral color and it matches with almost every look, may it be casual or formal.

Pier 39

It was our last day in San Francisco and of course we didn't forget to visit the Fisherman's Wharf at Pier 39 to eat their famous clam chowder and well, to take some pictures. I remember it was a super chilly afternoon that I almost flew away, literally! And I'm sure you won't believe that we took more than one hundred of pictures in order to get some good ones where my hair and hat weren't acting up esp in front of the carousel, because there's only ONE right picture.

I was wearing my new mint suit that I scored from Topshop and I originally planned to wear it with a matching coat since I checked the weather and it was even colder than in LA. However, what a coincidence, I forgot to bring the coat and you know the story, we were freezing, totally not a big deal, end of story; or not, because the next day I caught a cold.
Lesson to be learned: when it's cold, never forget to bring your coat, or don't go to the pier if you forgot your coat.

Never not holding a cup

I kinda feel that Japan is just another Australia; in this case, it's about their coffee. It's really a piece of cake to find good coffee in Tokyo just like in Sydney, right? Even the famous, not to mention my favorite Arabica Coffee in Kyoto is a par with Campos. Disclaimer: it's only my opinion.

Anyway, it was just last week I came back from Tokyo and now I need to pack my stuff again for #travelwithindahtour to South Korea and we'll be flying tomorrow night! I am not complaining, just excited for another working holiday trip, to be reunited with the full team once again and it's gonna be another crazy yet memorable trip for sure! Don't forget to catch us on our Instagram accounts for the craziness ;)

Meanwhile, here goes another outfit pictures, still from our latest trip to Tokyo. Went all neutral, like usual for a coffee break while waiting for the rest shopping around the area.

Gold chain

Gold chain and the usual palette.

Styling a piece of skort can be very tricky for me especially because I don't normally wear one and believe me, this time I even needed more time to find the perfect match for it. Even though I have so many versatile white shirts, most of them are oversized and too long for the skort that I had to look into my other pile of clothes which is full of brand-new old stuff. You know, us women love to shop for just everything and then we'll just leave them in one corner until we remember about that particular pile of stuff again, am I right or am I right? ;)

Anyway, it's a good thing that I can never stop buying white shirts that I have so many of them models and designs, yet I am still collecting more because one can never have too many white shirts. Believing at least I can find something to match this tricky but cute skort, I finally found this very shirt I didn't even remember buying in the end; what do you think of the final look? Not bad, ey?

My Coachella 2017

Here goes my very first Coachella experience. So, we arrived on the first day of Coachella a little bit late and we didn't manage to take many pictures as the sun was halfway sinking down by the time we reached.
I was wearing Dior scarf as a tube, TOMS X & Other Stories top, Pomelo shorts and Saint Laurent pumps.
I didn't know it was such a big deal wearing high heels to a music festival but really, I feel comfortable wearing them I even tested the pavement on the first day and turned out it was safe to wear them heels, so why not?

On the second day, we managed to arrive earlier in order to take as many pictures as we could because we decided to ditch the 3rd day of Coachella.
I was wearing Forever 21 lace bra, Ivyrevel lace kimono, IM The Label mini backpack and Charlotte Olympia shoes.

For someone who is not fond of music festival like me, Coachella turned out to be quite fun! Food was awesome, the people were cool although we got photo-bombed a lot and the festival itself was memorable, really interesting in fact. I don't mind coming again next year for Beyonce!

For me, the highlight of Coachella was of course Lady Gaga! Although I was disappointed (at first) to the fact that Beyonce was cancelled and replaced by Gaga, we were so pleased after seeing Gaga performed all out on stage! The costumes, make up, her choices of shoes OMG, and she even managed to dance energetically; it was all worth it I swear! Am just hoping I'll get another chance to fly out again for Coachella next year, for Beyonce, for the love of queen B!
