Arab Street

Well, I was supposed to post this entry last Tuesday but somehow I forgot about it, but anyway here it is! 

It was just a random afternoon walk right after we had our daily dose of coffee and before our super late lunch. And as you might have seen on my instagram, I finally went to the newly opened Arabica Coffee in Singapore as I had been craving for their coffee ever since my last Hongkong trip, which was last year I believe. It was so good that I can’t wait to be back again tomorrow. 

What I wore: Duma dress that I altered, Eesome X CK dress shirt as an outer, Kenzo Tali bag and shoes are Christian Louboutin’s Xiloboot.

You know, despite being just 156 cm tall, I actually never have a problem when shopping for long pants (esp oversized ones) or wearing them; I don't even need to alter them though I have short legs. Why? Obvioulsy because I wear high heels all the time.

But then, how to make your petite self look taller, even when you are sitting? 

My trick is to style a pair of oversized wide leg pants (or jeans in this case) with a pair of really high heels. I normally use 14cm heels, but here I use the 16cm ones because these pants are a little bit longer than my usuals. Good thing is, oversized and longer pants tend to hide your shoes well, so people won't really notice how high your heels are. No matter when you are sitting or standing, you'll definitely look tall.

I always have this hobby of wearing my outerwear as a top or a dress, just like what you see here, safari jacket as a top (PS. I wore shorts inside). I don't know but it's just a lot easier for me which I don't need to think of what to wear inside and of course I don't have to pack too many things inside my luggage while traveling. Do we have the same hobby here? ;)

Back to the jacket, here I paired it up with my favorite old Loubs and something extra which is this Gucci Ottilia bag so I won't look too plain and boring; I even searched for this not so simple background just to shoot this look, very dedicated I know, kidding.

Anyway, this overlapping double flap closure bag is from Gucci Fall Winter 2017 collection and it's a part of Gucci's anti-modern laboratory. What do you think about it?

Diesel X Faustine Steinmetz

You should have noticed by now that I am truly obsessed with my Diesel X Faustine Steinmetz denim pants, like really really. I've already lost count of how many times I've been wearing this pair; not only it's really comfortable to use, it is easy to match the pair with just the simplest top. I am totally aware that they are not your ordinary denim pants, but they simply are eye-candy. This time I paired them up with my save the best-for the last denim jacket for it's the only piece I haven't posted yet so far and yup it's obviously still from the same collection.

Just to let you know that the Denim Lab Capsule Collection is quite popular and there are just a few pieces left at Diesel Boutique in Plaza Indonesia so make sure to grab them fast before it's too late as the new collection is coming.

Velvet affair

My first time coming to Sydney during Autumn and no lie, I love it better. No more worrying about flat, greasy hair and also oily face! More interesting backgrounds, good weather, lovely blue sky with oh so yummy looking clouds and the most important thing is good coffee :) Life's good indeed.

You know how much I love to wear matchy matchy outfit because it's just right. But don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like to mix and match my outfit, it's just that I always have a thing for outfit set especially when it involves long trousers, I AM SOLD!

Last weekend, I had a gathering with my arisan girls and the theme was pastel and so I put my extension on in order to look more feminin than my usual preference since I decided to wear my new sabrina knitted dress from BNKR that day. Gotta love the material because although it's considered as a body-con type of dress, it's knitted so it's not thin nor tight, and it helps to hide the unwanted belly fat, I'm serious.

Other than shoes, do you know that I have an addiction towards long pants? Not the skinny one though, and it just need to be in monochrome and it's all good. Well I guess I currently have more than 15 pairs in just black and white colors, thus you can always find me wearing them most of the times, seriously. This time was no exception as well, I had my relaxed Sunday in on of my favorite Zara pants and THEA by Thara new holiday collection's piece.

Just an outfit diary from my latest trip to Bali featuring some of my new purchases including this unique McQ multifunction cardigan which you can use as a top, a dress or a cardigan itself. Scroll down for more outfit details ;)

Anyway, this time we stayed at one of Lifestyle Retreats property: The Bale, Nusa Dua, a very beautiful place with so many spots for us to take pictures, from the big main pool to the stairs, even the restaurants are very nice as well!
