IL BISONTE KM30

Still from last month trip to Florence with IL BISONTE for their IL BISONTE KM30, and here goes my point of view from the two days experiece.

On the first day I arrived, I got picked up and then we went straight to the hotel so I could refresh and finally get ready for lunch; followed by visiting IL BISONTE booth at Pitti Uomo, one of the world's most important platforms especially for men's clothing and also accessory collections. Well, it's basically a Men's fashion fair.
There, IL BISONTE showcased their latest Fall Winter 2018 Collection for us to discover and dang! gotta love the collection. It's all about the hobo and gypsy lifestyle; fur, fringe, braid, big stitches, you name it. Don't even get me started on the color palette, too tempting isn't it? Good news is, the collection will be available in Indonesia soon.

At IL BISONTE, you can also customize your belt :)

And here goes my favorite doctor bag!

On the next day, we had a quite packed schedule thus having my morning coffee is really important. Not forgetting a few shots with this maremmana bag because the cafe is too cute.

A quick stop at the iconic Piazzale Michelangelo for some touristy pictures before we moved forward to IL BISONTE Factory in Pontassieve.

It was around 11 AM if I'm not wrong when we arrived at the factory for a tour in order to learn more about IL BISONTE. It's really an interesting experience where we can see the process of how a bag is made. From the sketch, pattern making, to the leather check (the leather quality is no joke). Also seeing how they control the quality of their products and how they appreciate the hard work of each other at the factory; everything is just mind-blowing.

Right after the Factory visit, we went back to Florence and straight to the store, and I'm so happy that I got a chance to have quick chat with the founder of IL BISONTE, the one and only Wanny di Filippo. He's super nice and lovely, and how adorable his style is!

And finally, the last event of the day, The IL BISONTE KM30 Cocktail Party. Here, we were discovering about the KM30 stories and the Tuscan adventure. You can also read about it HERE.

KM30 is actually telling us that all IL BISONTE products are created and produced within the 30KM radius of Tuscan villages near Florence, form the leather to its brass accessories.

Another favorite, the mini doctor bag!

Last but not least, I would like to thank IL BISONTE Indonesia (esp Yohana) once again for bringing me to Florence and for this wonderful experience. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!

Roller Coaster

The one item that I used most of the time during my last trip to Florence, Il Bisonte baby doctor bag. I first knew about the doctor bag because I scored the big one in Jakarta and then I got introduced to this extra lovely baby version while visiting their store in Florence; it was like love at the first sight and I knew then I had to have the bag.

Well, the bag might look small but don't underestimate it because you might also be surprised to know that my Olympus camera can fit inside, not just the body but with the lens as well! Yup, no kidding. Good news is that Il Bisonte baby doctor bag is coming to Jakarta super soon, so be sure not to miss it because I believe they don't have that many stocks here. And oh, it's also available in black color! ;)

Merry-go-round

Back to Florence earlier this month, a working holiday trip with Il Bisonte. It was our last day and it was a free day, so we went to stroll around the city, hunting for some hot chocolate and some spots for more pictures, while waiting for the sunset.

Well, this may be my first time ever to Florence but it certaintly won’t be the last for sure, as I got bewitched by the beautiful city, their authentic Italian food and of course the gelato!
I had so much fun dressing up in Florence as well because you know, it’s been a while since I last wore them winter coats and oh-so-many layer of clothes. Sad it was such a short stay since I had to go back for another working trip, but at least I now have another reason to go back again, perhaps with hub next time around, Amen.

BVLGARI TRIP - Rome & Vatican

So, here goes the last part of my #bulgaritrip in Italy: Rome & Vatican edition. I've already uploaded the video of the trip on my youtube channel last week and in case you missed it, you can watch the video above :)

We started the day having a cup of coffee of course but in a fancy way, at Bulgari's. Just kidding, we bought it right in front of the iconic store right before going inside and had a quick tour. The store is located at 10 Via dei Condotti, and it is Bulgari's first original store (after replacing the one in Via Sistina back in 1905) in the world.

A lovely store tour by Mr. Giovanni, thank you for having us and for filling us with interesting history about Bulgari, from the family, the iconic interiors, to the uniqueness of Bulgari jewelry pieces.

A quick stop at the Spanish Steps and also to learn about the fact that Rome's Spanish Steps had finally reopened in 2016 after its restoration funded by an Italian luxury brand and it's none other than BVLGARI.

Not forgetting to visit Fontana di Trevi to toss my coin and make a wish, and finally the Vatican Museum. Learning about ancient history is always exciting, you know ;)

Spending our last day in Rome with, first, a Sunday Mass at St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican and seeing the Pope from the window while he's giving his Angelus blessing.

Then we went back to Rome to visit the other iconic amphitheater, the Colosseum just before going to the airport. Do you know that Bulgari's Bzero1 collection was inspired by the eternal perfection of the Colosseum?

"The design merging the imposing grandeur of Rome's great Colosseum, the most eternal of all monuments, with the strong lines of modern Italian design."

And it's finally the end of my trip together with Bulgari.

Last but not least, I would like to thank BVLGARI Indonesia and Tefi again and again for the opportunity and the experience, I surely had a memorable trip in Italy this year. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH.
