Feminist

Decided to come to the grand opening of the new Dior Plaza Senayan Boutique today in something simpler than what I normally wear to events. Well, truth is, I just couldn't wait to wear my newest Dior feminist T-shirt as I finally got my hands on it. Though it's not from their first edition since I couldn't get it last spring, I am content enough to get the current but more blurry one this time. Paired it up with this set of Gucci knitted cardigan and trousers to make myself look more presentable to the event ;)

The event was grand; it was packed with many beautiful people and I had fun spending time with the usual suspects, well you know, the non stop chit chat and taking oh so many pictures like usual.
Highlight of the day was of course having private dinner with Dior and meeting the one and only Aimee Song of Song of Style for the third time. What a lovely day, indeed.

Stranded in Yucca Valley

It was during the third day of Coachella that we went to this hidden gem in California, Yucca Valley. It takes about 45 minutes to drive from Palm Springs here, a secluded desert just before Joshua Tree. Well, we actually planned to visit Joshua Tree at first but after we found this, we decided to just stay here, a true getaway, in the middle of the desert.

We stayed here for two nights to experience the difference; sleeping inside the airstream and showering in the open air, why not? Not enough electricity and no food inside, no problems.

How do we know about this place? So, we first found out about the accommodation through Airbnb while looking for a place to stay in Joshua Tree, it called Desert Yacht Club (you can find it on instagram as well), and turned out we liked it in Yucca Valley and so in the end, we didn't make it to Joshua Tree.

About surviving here is actually not a big deal, you just need to buy enough food and snacks supply and you'll be fine, or you can also cook inside the airstream or in the open pantry if you want. The showering part is a little bit harder, you can either shower inside the airstream or in the open; however it's too small to shower inside and the water at the open shower gets too hot in 5 minutes, when I say too hot, it means boiling hot! So yeah basically you only have 5 minutes to shower but well we made it though we only showered there ONCE during our stay hahaha. To sum up everything, it's worth to try ;)

Gardens by The Bay

As you can see on my instagram update that I've already moved back to Asia and I'm currently in Singapore (though I'll be going back to Jakarta tomorrow). Well yes basically I'm now based in Jakarta, Indonesia again and of course Singapore since I'll be going back and forth doing some businesses here and as you all know, I'm now back for good. I know it's hard to say good bye to Paris but well I can always go back there again for hoiday right ;)

Anyway, here are just some photos from my visit to the beautiful Gardens by The Bay here in Singapore a few days ago. It was my very first time visiting this heavenly place and I didn't even want to go back home, it's just too beautiful to be true! Though it was crazily hot to go there since the sun was up all day, it's all worth it, really.

La Teste

I had been eyeing this particular set from Berrybenka ever since they launched their catalog book earlier this month and was really happy when boyfriend came to Paris bringing me this Fleur's outfit set! The set is too lovely that I couldn't resist to wear it out. Photos were taken by le boyfriend of course ;)

Wine city

And we continued our journey to Bordeaux, one of the most famous wine regions in France and in the world. Too bad I'm not really a fan of wine (alcohol).
Well, I should say Autumn is most definitely my favourite season - the beautiful colors of the trees, the cool wind and air are just perfect (umm on second thought, it's too cold sometimes hahaha). Sadly, there's only summer here in Indonesia.

One of my favourite macaroon shops in France, Bailladran.

And we had our dinner at L'entrecote, a must dine in restaurant in Bordeaux; famous for their endive salad and the delicious rib steak which served with the special sauce and thin fries, nyammm.

Credits to my lovely sister, Kiki Siantar for the lovely photos.
