IFW 2012 Day 4 - Ethnic Eclectism Part 2

Right, I still owe you the preview of the last fashion show by Anne Avantie on the last day of IFW 2012. I'm so sorry for the delay and here you go, Ethnic Electism - "Indonesia Sehati" by Anne Avantie, be amazed ;)

As you can see, the show was fun, not only the models, but a lot of celebrities dolled up in Anne Avantie's amazing kebaya collection and did the catwalk too, not to mention some of the famous singers were also there wearing her collection while singing. All the pieces of her collection at the fashion show were extravagant, breathtaking and really wowed me! Truth be told, I'm not a fan of traditional clothes/kebaya at all. However, by looking at those fabulous pieces, I couldn't help but to be amazed by them. I was amazed and still am amazed til now! Alright, I have no more words to say since I bet you all already know who she is, how talented and famous she is and also what she had done so far to Indonesia fashion industry.

My photographer friend saw me at the show and sent me this photo yesterday , he is so nice huh ;)

And last, thank you so much kak Trinzi and Gramedia Group for the invitation with all the front row seats (except for the last day XD) at IFW 2012. It was really nice to meet youuuuuu =)

IFW 2012 Day 4 - Ethnic Eclectism Part 1

Managed to visit the backstage at the last day of IFW 2012, here are just some random shots I took before the last fashion show of Indonesia Fashion Week 2012.

And yeah I didn't forget that I promised you guys to share the recap of the fashion show. So, there you go, Ethnic Eclectism by Ferry Sunarto and Musa Widyatmodjo. I'll post the super grand fashion show by Anne Avantie next ;)

FERRY SUNARTO

I'm sorry, these were just some shots I managed to take during the show, well some of my favourite pieces by the designer to be exact. Identic with his beautiful modern kebaya, Ferry Sunarto decided to show us his collection of The Fascinating Romance at the event two weeks ago. The details are LOOOOOVE and they are indeed so romantic.

MUSA WIDYATMODJO

Again, only some shots of Musa's collection I took during the fashion show, just enough to share. Through the label M by Musa, he chose to share his design collection of modern clothes with a touch of Indonesian culture for the IFW 2012. The name of the collection is “the (ine)kelimutu” which is inspired by the life of the women in Kelimutu. Truth be told, I'm not a fan of the models' make up.
