Santorini Island

You want it, you have it ;)
Since I've been asked about my Santorini travel review, here goes my honest review. However, I've only been there two times, so I can only say so much to the point of my maximum experience.

Let's talk about the city itself, for sure it's not a cliché because it's just as beautiful as on the photos and like I said before, everything is just instagrammable. Definitely one of the city you must visit once in your lifetime. I don't mind to come back again for more and more and more; partly because we always chose to stay in Imerovigli, not Oia nor Fira (Imerovigli is known for their white houses while Oia is more colorful). So yes, there are still more to explore.

What about the pros and cons?

When in Autumn, ticket and hotel prices are so much cheaper because of the weather; although the sky is still beautiful, it gets cold during the day and it rains sometimes. However, it's super easy to take pictures because Santorini is not packed during Autumn.
When in Summer, it's always sunny, the sky is amazing but it's freaking hot. Not to mention how packed the city is, therefore we chose to stay in Imerovigli because it's more quiet compared to Oia, but it's a little bit more expensive.

About the food, everything goes well with me since I'm not a picky eater and I always love to try local food. My favorite has got to be the signature greek salad which consists of super yummy cherry tomatoes, and their seafood is lovely too!

Move on to the access, just one word: stairs. My suggestion is to always check and read the review of the hotel or villa you'll be staying beforehand; make sure whether they are located super down the cliff or not, either way most of hotels and villa have porters but it's just quite tiring to climb up and down every time. And if you're not staying for long, just use cabin sized baggage, it will be so much easier :)
High heels are of course a big no but well I still can manage if we're just going nearby but I also opt for sandals.

However, about the access from one area to another, I recommend to rent a car with full insurence because it's not that expensive esp when you're travelling with your friends. You won't need an international driving license though, just your normal one will do. However, it's not neccessary if you just want to chill and relax, every area and part of Santorini is already beautiful as it is :)
About airport and hotel transfers, easy peasy, you can book shuttle service provided by most of the hotels but remember it's not free but the price is very reasonable.
