Paris Men's Fashion Week - Kenzo F/W 2014

Woke up early in the morning to attend Kenzo's show on January 18 and totally blown away by the fall/winter collection. As you know, Kenzo is one of my all time favorite brands and of course you know my love towards mens fashion is undeniable. As it was my first time attending men's fashion show, I gotta say the vibe and the setting are really different compared to women's. Just scroll down if you don't know what I'm talking about. Apologize for the not-that-nice pictures taken with my humble camera.

"We considered the quintessenial man's wardrobe from an altered perspective. We directed our gaze to America's Northwest and focused on how perceived classic elements could be broken and reinterpreted. An effort in opposites attract where the familiar is twisted. The collection is bold, precise in its considered mixing of textures, proportions and shapes. Everyday tailoring is distinguished yet distorted and what appears as the norm is reflected in an unconventional light."

How creative can these two designers are. Who would have thought about using factory worker's tool creatures as an inspiration? Not only that, from what I read, the accessories are industrial and surface as elements from a steelworkers uniform. Safety boots anchor the chopped up silhouette. The tool creature bracelets adorn workers wrists while spanner and nuts are pinned to down jackets. I am just wowed, this is why I love Kenzo so much, the creativity and the idea of the designers are just beyond our imagination. I just want to say thank you Kenzo so much for providing me the invitation and letting me witness this awesome show, I can't ask for more.

From Chalet Maya to Le Brevent

As promised, here on this very blog post you'll see the inside/interior or more like a glimpse of Chalet Maya since my eldest sister celebrated her early birthday there by making some home made foods as all the utensils and stuffs are all provided by Chalet Maya, the big dining table, bread container, wine and champagne glasses, even the colorful napkins and candles. Well, just scroll for the pictures.... But before that excuse me with my own pictures playing on the snow and visiting the very breathtaking Restaurant Le Panoramic at Le Brevent, enjoy ;)

Beauphoria automatic rotating hair curler

I just got my very first automatic rotating hair curler from Beauphoria a few weeks ago. I've been really curious about this particular hair curler/curling iron since it launched earlier last year and finally I got the chance to try it out.

What makes this curling iron special is of course because it is automatic, you don't need to waste your time and energy as it will help you to do all the work for your hair to be as lovely as you want it to be. The best part is the feature of the two key buttons (left L and right R) which are always there to assist you in curling your hair in whichever direction you want. What's not to love? I even replaced my previous curling iron ever since I tried this auto-rotating hair curler from Beauphoria. Before, I used to curl my hair for 25-30 minutes with my previous curling iron but it only takes 10-15 minutes to curl my hair with Beauphoria! It is indeed very effective and efficient.

If you are wondering, I use the medium hair curler with 28mm diameter to get my hair done like this ;)

Still curious about this curling iron? Follow @beauphoria on instagram, order, get this awesome curling iron now and say bye-bye to bad hair day!
