Pier 39

It was our last day in San Francisco and of course we didn't forget to visit the Fisherman's Wharf at Pier 39 to eat their famous clam chowder and well, to take some pictures. I remember it was a super chilly afternoon that I almost flew away, literally! And I'm sure you won't believe that we took more than one hundred of pictures in order to get some good ones where my hair and hat weren't acting up esp in front of the carousel, because there's only ONE right picture.

I was wearing my new mint suit that I scored from Topshop and I originally planned to wear it with a matching coat since I checked the weather and it was even colder than in LA. However, what a coincidence, I forgot to bring the coat and you know the story, we were freezing, totally not a big deal, end of story; or not, because the next day I caught a cold.
Lesson to be learned: when it's cold, never forget to bring your coat, or don't go to the pier if you forgot your coat.

My Coachella 2017

Here goes my very first Coachella experience. So, we arrived on the first day of Coachella a little bit late and we didn't manage to take many pictures as the sun was halfway sinking down by the time we reached.
I was wearing Dior scarf as a tube, TOMS X & Other Stories top, Pomelo shorts and Saint Laurent pumps.
I didn't know it was such a big deal wearing high heels to a music festival but really, I feel comfortable wearing them I even tested the pavement on the first day and turned out it was safe to wear them heels, so why not?

On the second day, we managed to arrive earlier in order to take as many pictures as we could because we decided to ditch the 3rd day of Coachella.
I was wearing Forever 21 lace bra, Ivyrevel lace kimono, IM The Label mini backpack and Charlotte Olympia shoes.

For someone who is not fond of music festival like me, Coachella turned out to be quite fun! Food was awesome, the people were cool although we got photo-bombed a lot and the festival itself was memorable, really interesting in fact. I don't mind coming again next year for Beyonce!

For me, the highlight of Coachella was of course Lady Gaga! Although I was disappointed (at first) to the fact that Beyonce was cancelled and replaced by Gaga, we were so pleased after seeing Gaga performed all out on stage! The costumes, make up, her choices of shoes OMG, and she even managed to dance energetically; it was all worth it I swear! Am just hoping I'll get another chance to fly out again for Coachella next year, for Beyonce, for the love of queen B!

Cabs

One more outfit post taken in the middle of busy New York City. It was just last week we went back home after the trip and I'm already looking forward to our next trip but where could our next destination be? ;)

All suited up in SHO bizzare blazer and pure pants with the background of NYC tall buildings just because they match. Don't they?

Cherry blossom

Just like in Japan, cherry blossom a.k.a sakura is also blooming in New York City. On the last day of our stay, we managed to visit the beautiful Brooklyn Botanic Garden to enjoy their kind of spring, simply beautiful.
Well, hubby and I chose New York instead of Japan for our prewedding destination in order to not be too mainstream, but who knew that New York also has beautiful cherry blossom park, just perfect for outfit pictures ;)

Troutman street

Updating from Brooklyn neighborhood just because I haven't updated my blog in a while, featuring new collection pieces from LAISON which got me compliments by so many people here in NYC. You know, it's always a happy feeling to be able to come back to this busy city where everything is just right, well almost everything I mean. However, reality is calling so I gotta need to pack my bags real soon for home and I'll see you guys on my next post :)

Rodeo Drive

An update from the City of Angels, well actually I'm now in Las Vegas, just checked in to our hotel and yes writing this entry. Well, it's just another outfit post featuring my new Coach bag taken at Rodeo Drive, LA just before we had our lunch and shopping spree.

You know I am such a sucker when it comes to classic bags with classic colors like black, nude or white since I'm actually a monochrome kind of girl; I just can't resist. Anyway, adding to my bag collection is Coach Crosstown cross-body bag from their Spring 2015 collection, lovely! Been using the bag several times already here in the US because the size is just perfect for travelling. Not only that, it also comes with gold chains so yes, you can use it as a clutch as well.
