The white one

A really beautiful laced sleeveless maxi dress with a sheer layer and a back zipper for closure, an eye candy I found on Berrybenka's webstore not long ago. Truth be told, I can't even remember the last time I wore a maxi dress but I am so glad to finally get this lovely one. How do I look? :)

La Fleur

In French, la fleur means floral/flower. As you know, la fleur print is still one of the hottest fashion trends right now and I'm glad that it has not died down. In fact, I don't think this trend is ever out of fashion. I guess you've also already witnessed how blooming the la fleur trend is from the Spring 2013 fashion runaway of some local/international brands, name it Prada, Pierre Balmain, Just Cavalli, Moschino, etc. Yes, almost everywhere.

What I like about la fleur trend is the vibe and the versatility that it gives. You know it can be completely feminine yet sexy at the same time, simple yet also striking. I can't describe how I'm head over heels for this trend. Well what can I do, I just really love la fleur trend! If you've been following my blog for a while you would have noticed that I'm such a collector of la fleur prints, from head to toe! From headbands, clothes, accessories and of course, shoes.

Ohh, in case you are too lazy to recall my collection, no worries because I made a collage featuring some of them ;)

And I guess I won't be over this trend anytime soon.

Touch of pink

First of all, I would like to say Happy Chinese New Year!!
And yes, I finally cut my hair yesterday and I feel like it's a little bit too short, no? (I'm thinking about getting some hair clip extensions after this hahaha).

Actually, I've been keeping this asymmetrical maxi dress for quite sometimes already, but I just had the chance to wear it yesterday and I don't know if asymmetrical is still trending or not, but I often find myself wearing asymmetrical skirts or dresses lately.

Ain't casual Sunday

Ain't my casual Sunday, indeed.

Fell in love with the layer details of the dress as it covers my fatty tummy perfectly ;)

I was wearing this gifted formal dress from Nadeshiko Closet and tried to look not that formal by matching it with a belt. And by the way, do I still look formal?

PS. don't forget to enter my birthday giveaway as today is the last day to enter ;)

Autumn magic

I feel like a magician. Do I look like one? ;)

I bet that you noticed today's outfit inspiration. Yup the shoes, the Tuxedo Shoes. I got this pair of custom made shoes by Ulin Custom Shoes (Arfadh Baparsyah). The inspiration itself is from a tuxedo gown ;)
You know I always love custom shoes esp from them!

Anyway, I was wearing white sheer blouse from ChocoChips, and my sister high waisted jeggings. Oh, the bow tie is actually one of my dance props ;)

Stay strong, Japan

Dedicated to Japan. I was wearing DIY shirt, my eldest sister's handmade long skirt, tights from Silk Market and wedges from Ulin Custom Shoes.

Did a special collaboration (Johanne's lovely idea) with some LOOKBOOK.nu members to support Japan (Peter's brilliant idea), and show that we care. As you all know, Japan had suffered because of the earthquake not so long ago, and I really hope nothing bad will happen again.

Stay strong, Japan. We do pray for you.

and check out another LB members' amazing looks bellow ;)

Read the article on LOOKBOOK.nu here
To show our own support for this effort, LOOKBOOK.nu will donate $1 (USD) to Japan relief efforts for each "hype" that the looks below accumulate by the end of this weekend (Sunday, May 8, 2011 @ 11:59 PM Pacific time).

PS. If you have the chance to help them, you can help by donating to the redcross here. It's never too late =)

It takes two bows to sail

Just another random outfit photos on weekend.

sailor top with bow from Platinum in Bangkok, printed legging from Cotton On, bow ring from H&M and shoes from Ulin Custom Shoes (you know what? the owner said to me that they are going to launch their line soon!).

So, yesterday somebody asked me how do I take my daily outfit photos. Well, the most important thing for me is to make sure there is somebody who's willing to take my photos (my two little sisters are always standby in my case hahaha). Then, I will choose the right outfit according to my mood (including the SHOES) and snap snap snap. PS. If you want to make your photos look natural, try to take the photos while you're walking.
Yes, just that simple =)

Chasing the dust

The second part of last Sunday's shoot, Chasing the dust.

The wind was perfect that day. So "just follow the wind and chase the dust"?

Been looking for this kind of place for so long, yeah in Jakarta. Fortunately, my photographer friend was kinda lost somewhere near this location not too long ago, and thanks to that, he found this beautiful place.

Wearing the fur jacket from Zara and wedges from Ulin Custom Shoes. I'm so into black and white nowadays, plain ones, with a little touch of color.

Big big thanks to Andreas Setiadi =)
