Golden creatures

I always have this hobby of wearing my outerwear as a top or a dress, just like what you see here, safari jacket as a top (PS. I wore shorts inside). I don't know but it's just a lot easier for me which I don't need to think of what to wear inside and of course I don't have to pack too many things inside my luggage while traveling. Do we have the same hobby here? ;)

Back to the jacket, here I paired it up with my favorite old Loubs and something extra which is this Gucci Ottilia bag so I won't look too plain and boring; I even searched for this not so simple background just to shoot this look, very dedicated I know, kidding.
Anyway, this overlapping double flap closure bag is from Gucci Fall Winter 2017 collection and it's a part of Gucci's anti-modern laboratory. What do you think about it?

White Story

I'm not sure about you, but I myself can never have enough of white shirt. Whenever in doubt, I can always rely on it simply because you can never go wrong with a good classic white shirt. You know, I guess you can find over 20 different plain white shirts I own in my wardrobe and mostly are oversized (it works best for me). Adding to the collection is another oversized white shirt with bell sleeve details I got from White Story, a Melbourne based label that produce everything white, authentic and pure, thus white shirt. Had a chance to visit their office during VAMFF and good Lord, I don't mind staying there. Everything's just white, clean and inspiring; the fact that they make use of used fabric rolls as office decoration is GOLD! Will share more soon :)

Pictures were taken at the beautiful Parliament of Victoria on my last day in Melbourne. So happy to be in town accompanied by my two cupcakes a.k.a my photographers during the trip. One best friend of mine and one little brother that I've known for years. You know, you should keep your real friends closer than your enemy ;)

Acropolis

It was actually my second time in Athens and yet it was my first time to visit Acropolis and guess what? We were disappointed because it was still under renovation so we couldn't take pictures at some part of the area, how sad. Anyway, for those who are still wondering, NO, I didn't climb up with my heels though I believe I can and able to do so. However, this pair of shoes was a gift from hubby so, no, no.

Santorini Island

You want it, you have it ;)
Since I've been asked about my Santorini travel review, here goes my honest review. However, I've only been there two times, so I can only say so much to the point of my maximum experience.

Let's talk about the city itself, for sure it's not a cliché because it's just as beautiful as on the photos and like I said before, everything is just instagrammable. Definitely one of the city you must visit once in your lifetime. I don't mind to come back again for more and more and more; partly because we always chose to stay in Imerovigli, not Oia nor Fira (Imerovigli is known for their white houses while Oia is more colorful). So yes, there are still more to explore.

What about the pros and cons?

When in Autumn, ticket and hotel prices are so much cheaper because of the weather; although the sky is still beautiful, it gets cold during the day and it rains sometimes. However, it's super easy to take pictures because Santorini is not packed during Autumn.
When in Summer, it's always sunny, the sky is amazing but it's freaking hot. Not to mention how packed the city is, therefore we chose to stay in Imerovigli because it's more quiet compared to Oia, but it's a little bit more expensive.

About the food, everything goes well with me since I'm not a picky eater and I always love to try local food. My favorite has got to be the signature greek salad which consists of super yummy cherry tomatoes, and their seafood is lovely too!

Move on to the access, just one word: stairs. My suggestion is to always check and read the review of the hotel or villa you'll be staying beforehand; make sure whether they are located super down the cliff or not, either way most of hotels and villa have porters but it's just quite tiring to climb up and down every time. And if you're not staying for long, just use cabin sized baggage, it will be so much easier :)
High heels are of course a big no but well I still can manage if we're just going nearby but I also opt for sandals.

However, about the access from one area to another, I recommend to rent a car with full insurence because it's not that expensive esp when you're travelling with your friends. You won't need an international driving license though, just your normal one will do. However, it's not neccessary if you just want to chill and relax, every area and part of Santorini is already beautiful as it is :)
About airport and hotel transfers, easy peasy, you can book shuttle service provided by most of the hotels but remember it's not free but the price is very reasonable.
